Porto Pride, a long-running LGBTQIA+ celebration in Northern Portugal, is scheduled for a three-day event from September 11 to 13. Following a 2019 restructuring aimed at ‘Dar cor ao Porto’ (Bringing color to Porto), the festival has grown from small indoor gatherings into large-scale public celebrations in the Cordoaria neighborhood. In addition to the public festivities, the Porto Pride Summit 2026 will be held on September 11 at the Teatro Municipal do Porto – Rivoli. This summit focuses on organizational inclusion, featuring discussions on digital activism, building inclusive corporate cultures, and the role of Pride events as ‘engines of urban transformation’ within society. The summit is expected to bring together experts and business leaders to discuss practical strategies for diversity and inclusion.
