President Prabowo Subianto has initiated several domestic programs focused on industrial development and national security. In Central Halmahera, the President inaugurated the first export of electric vehicle batteries and launched 11 downstream industrial projects at the Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park (IWIP), representing approximately US$10.2 billion in value. Of these 11 projects, four are entering commercial operations while seven are new constructions. Total realized investment in the IWIP area has reached US$20 billion, with plans for a further US$7 billion expansion. Simultaneously, President Prabowo held briefings for 800 senior officers from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) at the Presidential Palace. These sessions were designed to strengthen institutional synergy and prepare for complex global threats, such as cyber, information, and hybrid warfare. During these briefings, the President emphasized the importance of maintaining public trust and ensuring security forces prioritize citizen welfare. Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto noted that these directives are essential for maintaining national stability and addressing a dynamic strategic environment. Furthermore, it was announced that ministers and deputy ministers of the Red and White Cabinet will be provided with Maung Garuda official vehicles produced by PT Pindad.
