Premier League clubs Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly preparing for active transfer activity during the upcoming January window to address squad requirements. Manchester United is expected to seek a new centre-forward and a specialist left-back to provide depth following a summer midfield overhaul. The club previously failed to secure winger Mateus Mane from Wolverhampton Wanderers, who remained at his club despite interest from several top-tier teams. Liverpool FC is also looking toward January to potentially resurrect summer transfer pursuits, such as the interest in Brighton forward Yankuba Minteh. Additionally, reports indicate Lamine Camara has agreed to personal terms with the club, while midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has reaffirmed his commitment to the team after rejecting summer offers to depart. Recent reports suggest Liverpool may consider moving on several players to facilitate new signings, with former scout Bryan King identifying Cody Gakpo, Florian Wirtz, Joe Gomez, and Jeremie Frimpong as potential candidates for departure. While there are no immediate intentions to sell Wirtz, his future remains speculative. Furthermore, Liverpool is monitoring young talent for future recruitment, specifically tracking 19-year-old Boca Juniors attacking midfielder Tomas Aranda. The Argentine player, who has earned senior international recognition, is also being monitored by Arsenal and Chelsea. Transfer valuations for Aranda are estimated between approximately nine million euros and a twenty million dollar clause.
