Tapia and Coello win Premier Padel Major continue winning streak in Paris Rotterdam

Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello successfully defended their standing by winning the Premier Padel Major in Paris. In a hard-fought match at the Philippe Chatrier stadium in Roland Garros, the world number one duo defeated Federico Chingotto and Alejandro Galán with a score of 6-3, 4-6, 7-6. This victory marks the 27th title for the partnership and allows the pair to extend their lead in both the FIP ranking and the Race FIP. Following the tournament, the gap between the leaders and the second-ranked pair grew to 1,895 points in the FIP ranking and 1,270 points in the Race FIP. Building on this momentum, Coello and Tapia secured the men’s title at the Premier Padel Rotterdam P2 tournament. They defeated Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz with a score of 6-3, 6-2 at the Ahoy arena. This victory further extends their dominance and significantly increases their advantage in the RACE standings. In the women’s division in Rotterdam, Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero claimed the championship by defeating Paula Josemaría and Bea González 6-4, 6-4. This marked the second consecutive title for Sánchez and Ustero, following their win at Roland Garros, and their fourth title of the season.
