Production has commenced on the upcoming action-drama film ‘Monster’, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and starring Salman Khan. Filming began in Mumbai at a set in Aarey Colony, Goregaon, featuring large-scale sequences such as a fight inside a moving train. The production also noted the return of Khan’s long-time body double, Parvez Kazi, to the set. Following the start of production, PVR INOX reportedly secured the All India distribution rights for the film for Rs 100 crore. The deal is structured as a refundable advance. Produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film is expected to feature Nayanthara, Arvind Swamy, Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff, and Rahul Dev, with a projected release around the Eid festival in 2027. Recent filming efforts have focused on a major action sequence set on a moving train at the Goregaon set. Actor Arvind Swamy, playing the film’s primary antagonist, has arrived in Mumbai for a 10-day shooting schedule. His involvement includes solo portions, high-impact action scenes, and a “cat-and-mouse confrontation” with Khan’s character. Additionally, Parvez Kazi has returned to assist with action choreography following a recovery from health issues.
