Professional wrestling events took place across Japan and the United States in August 2026. In Japan, New Japan Pro Wrestling held the 19th day of the G1 Climax 36 in Tokyo, featuring matches involving House Of Torture and the Most Violent Players. In the United States, Major League Wrestling hosted Fusion #208 in Tennessee, where The Good Brothers won the MLW World Tag Team Championship. By September, Japanese promotions continued major activities. World Wonder Ring Stardom held its ‘To The World 2026’ event in Yokohama, where Suzu Suzuki retained the STARDOM World Women's Championship. Additionally, the Marigold promotion commenced its ‘Dream*Star Grand Prix 2026’ tournament at Tokyo Korakuen Hall. Stardom continued its touring schedule later in September with the ‘Silver Week Tour’ at the ACROS Fukuoka Event Hall on September 22. The event featured seven matches, including a main event where the trio of Maika, Maki Itoh, and Utami Hayashishita defeated Hazuki, Koguma, and Fuwa-chan. Other results from the Fukuoka show included victories for NEO GENESIS (AZM and Miyu Amasaki) over Kikyo Furusawa and Rian, as well as wins for Waka Tsukiyama and HANAKO, and H.A.T.E. in their respective matches.
