Project Motor Racing updates and expansions

Overview

Project Motor Racing has undergone several content and technical updates. In late July 2026, Update 2.1 was released, which included a free ‘Aussie Rivals’ DLC featuring the 2013 Holden VF Commodore and a reworked 2013 Ford Falcon FG. This update also introduced technical improvements such as overhauled GT3 and GT4 handling models, Alpha triple-screen support for PC, and Logitech’s TrueForce haptic feedback.

Following this, publisher GIANTS Software and developer Straight4 Studios announced the ‘V8 Power Pack’, scheduled for release on September 15, 2026. This expansion will introduce nine V8 racing vehicles across three new classes: V8 Evo (featuring 2023 Australian-spec Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro models), USV8 (including 2022 Dodge Challenger, Ford Mustang, and Camaro TA/2 models), and Historic USV8 (containing classic 1968–1970 muscle cars such as the Plymouth Barracuda and AMC Javelin). The pack also includes a digitally scanned version of the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Additionally, the Lamborghini Temerario was showcased as a playable vehicle at gamescom 2026.
