During a recent promotional event in Tokyo, it was revealed that the original author, Keigo Higashino, who passed away last month, had viewed a screening of the completed film. Higashino reportedly praised the final scene to producers. Matsumura and Imada expressed deep gratitude toward the late author, noting that his approval provided a sense of relief and honor. Additionally, Matsumura drew attention for his new orange hair color during a live appearance on the morning program ‘ZIP!’ as part of the final push before the premiere.
