Diana Morant, Secretary General of the PSPV-PSOE and candidate for the presidency of the Generalitat, has outlined a political strategy to regain control of launched her formal campaign for the Valencian Community in upcoming 2027 regional elections. Morant also pledged to secure 3.7 billion euros in pending regional financing and implement stricter urban planning to mitigate risks from extreme weather. Regarding the October 2024 DANA catastrophe, the PSPV has committed to organizing an official institutional tribute and ensuring ‘reparative justice’ for the 232 victims. Morant has also pledged to repeal laws she characterized as ‘franquista, machista, LGTBI-phobic, and of national priority.’ The People's Party (PP) has countered these claims, with education claims.
