The manga series ‘Psyren’ by Toshiaki Iwashiro is receiving a television anime adaptation produced by SATELIGHT. The series, which follows high school student Ageha Yoshina/Yozaki and his involvement in a dangerous game involving a secret organization, is scheduled to begin broadcasting on October 5, 2026, on channels including TOKYO MX and BS11. In anticipation of the release, voice actors Rikuya Yasuda and Mayuko Kazama have shared insights regarding their roles. Additionally, the food delivery service Demae-can is launching a collaborative campaign featuring themed digital content, social media giveaways, and limited-edition merchandise such as stickers and QUO cards. As of its October 5, 2026, premiere, the series is being described as an anime revival for the Fall 2026 season, noting that the original manga was cancelled in 2010 after 100 chapters. The production is directed by Katsumi Ono, with character designs by Akira Okuma and scripts by Shin Yoshida. The opening theme, ‘WARNING!!’, is performed by CLAN QUEEN, while the ending theme, ‘Icarus’, is performed by Who-ya Extended. For international audiences, the series is available for streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll. An English dub is currently planned, though specific release details have not been confirmed.
