Indonesian state-owned construction company PT PP (Persero) Tbk, known as PTPP, has reported significant contract acquisitions through late 2026. As of August 2026, the company secured new contracts totaling Rp9.3 trillion. These projects were primarily government-funded, accounting for 66 percent of the total, followed by private sector projects at 18 percent and other state-owned enterprise projects at 16 percent. The company’s portfolio remains focused on roads, bridges, buildings, and mining infrastructure as part of a ‘Back to Core’ strategy. In November 2026, PTPP signed an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract valued at Rp400 billion with PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur. This specific project involves constructing Pier 11 in the Pupuk Kaltim industrial area in Bontang, East Kalimantan, to support national Soda Ash requirements. The scope of work includes developing a multipurpose pier, supporting structures, a conveyor system, and installing mobile ship loader equipment. The facility is designed to accommodate bulk material carriers with a capacity of up to 40,000 Deadweight Tonnage (DWT). The project is scheduled to span 570 calendar days, having commenced on September 18, 2026.
