Public profile of Irene Urdangarin

Overview

Irene Urdangarin, daughter of Infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarin, has recently drawn public interest through her studies and personal life. Initially, attention focused on a video from Oxford Brookes University where she discussed her personal style, alongside social media support from her cousin Victoria Federica, who described her as ‘a total queen’.

Subsequently, reports emerged that Urdangarin introduced her partner, Fernando Echevarría, to former King Juan Carlos during a visit to Galicia. Echevarría, who works in London, met Urdangarin in the United Kingdom earlier this year. This development is noted as part of a broader trend among the four Urdangarin siblings, all of whom are currently in relationships.
