QNAP Systems, Inc. has introduced new software and service solutions focused on data management and enterprise storage. In late August 2026, the company launched QuTS MEGA 2.0, an operating system for scale-out MEGA NAS solutions. Following this, in early September 2026, QNAP announced the beta launch of myQNAPcloud Storage Business. On September 16, 2026, QNAP expanded its hardware offerings with the TS-h966TX NAS, and on September 22, it announced the TS-432XeU short-depth NAS server. In early October 2026, the company announced the beta release of HDP for Business, a backup platform designed to transform existing NAS devices into centralized backup and recovery verification centers. Utilizing a Zero Trust framework, the software aims to address ransomware threats by unifying management for virtual machines (including VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Proxmox), physical servers, and various file servers such as Nutanix and NetApp. The platform includes automated recovery verification and video recording of the restoration process to provide verifiable proof of successful data recovery, intended to assist with IT audits. Additionally, QNAP introduced the TVS-hx77AX series of hybrid ZFS-NAS systems. These models, available in 8, 12, and 16-bay configurations, utilize AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors and support up to 192 GB of DDR5 memory. Optimized for AI training, virtualization, and 4K video projects, the hardware supports NFS over RDMA via 25GbE SmartNICs to achieve data transfer speeds comparable to local NVMe SSDs. On October 13, 2026, QNAP unveiled the TS-432XeU, a 1U rack-mount NAS with a short depth of 292.1 mm. Designed for space-constrained environments such as small offices, production sites, or vehicle installations, the device features a quad-core 1.7 GHz AnnapurnaLabs AL324 ARM processor and four SATA bays. Its networking capabilities include one 10GbE-SFP+ port and two 2.5GbE-RJ45 ports, with support for SMB Multichannel and Docker container applications.
