Quang Tri is preparing to host the 2026 Culture and Tourism Week from November 24 to 30. Under the theme ‘Radiant Land of Wonders,’ the event will include cultural, artistic, sporting, and tourism activities at locations such as Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, and the Hien Luong-Ben Hai river banks. Key components of the program include the 2026 Quang Tri International Hot Air Balloon Week, scheduled for November 25 to 28 at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and the Hien Luong-Ben Hai area. The program also features a mobile film week titled ‘Viet Cinema—Cultural Pride, Community Connection’ targeting mountainous communes, and the finals of the first Quang Tri Provincial Singing Festival. Recent planning updates indicate the opening ceremony will be held at Ho Chi Minh Square, featuring an art performance and fireworks. The event will also include a culinary space showcasing Hanoi-style dishes prepared with local ingredients. Through these activities, the province aims ~~to use these activities~~ to promote local imagery, expand tourism, and facilitate community exchange while honoring local traditions.
