Manchester United confirmed that 22‑year‑old Czech goalkeeper Radek Vitek has completed a permanent transfer to Championship side Middlesbrough. The deal is reported at £7 million, potentially rising to £14 million with add‑ons, and includes a 35 % sell‑on clause and a buy‑back right for United. Vitek, a United academy product since 2020 who most recently spent loan spells at Bristol City, said he was “happy with how the situation turned out” and looks forward to regular first‑team football.
