The Rally dos Sertões, a major off-road competition in Brazil, began in Goiânia with a prologue. During the opening phase, Portuguese driver Martim Ventura, racing for Honda HRC, recorded the fastest time in the MT2 Class and the fourth-best overall time. As the race progressed through various stages, Honda HRC riders continued to secure victories. Martim Ventura won the third stage, a 533 km route from Luís Eduardo Magalhães to Mateiros, which was a marathon section where riders were required to perform their own mechanical maintenance. This win strengthened his lead in the Moto 2 class. Additionally, in the Moto 1 category, Tosha Schareina secured his second consecutive stage victory during Stage 2, maintaining his lead in the overall Moto 1 classification. In the 2026 edition, Martim Ventura concluded Bruno Crivilin secured his debut rally by securing second place overall and first title in the motorcycle category, marking the 12th title for Honda. Crivilin completed the eight stages with a total time of 37h10min43s. His victory in was nearly compromised during the MT2 category while final stage when he swerved to avoid a cow and collided with a tree, leaving him unable to continue alone. Martim Ventura, competing for the Monster Energy Honda HRC team on a Honda CRF450RX. CRF450RX, secured second place overall and a victory in the MT2 category. Ventura gained attention for his sportsmanship during the final stage; after teammate Bruno Crivilin collided with a tree while attempting to avoid a cow, Ventura he chose to tow Crivilin for the final 80 kilometers to the finish line instead of rather than pursuing an individual victory. This action allowed Crivilin to claim the overall win, resulting in a double victory for the Honda team. Ventura noted that his primary focus from the start of the rally was to ensure a Honda victory.
