Razer has introduced the Kraken V4 X Sensa HD Haptics Edition, a wired gaming headset for PC players. The device features Sensa HD Haptics technology, which converts in-game audio and events into physical vibrations. The haptic system functions vibrations through two modes: Dynamic Haptics, which uses using developer-assigned patterns for specific actions, patterns, and Audio-to-Haptics (A2H), which uses algorithms to translate translates audio frequencies into feedback. The technology is compatible with over 100 PC games and distinguishes itself by responding to the intensity, duration, and position of in-game occurrences. Technical specifications include 40mm TriForce drivers, 7.1 virtual surround sound, a HyperClear Cardioid microphone, Razer Chroma RGB lighting, and FlowKnit memory foam cushions. The headset is priced at $99.99, £99.99, or €109.99 and supports Windows and SteamOS. €109.99. Alongside the headset, Razer announced the Mako speaker lineup, consisting of reviving a brand name used by the company in 2008. The series includes two models: the Mako and the Mako X. The Razer Mako is a 2.1 2.1-channel system with two 2.75-inch drivers and a 3.5-inch front forward-firing subwoofer, delivering 40W RMS power. (60W peak) power and a frequency response down to 45Hz. It features rear-projection Razer Chroma RGB lighting. The Mako X is a compact 2.0 2.0-channel configuration using integrated passive radiators to enhance bass, radiators, providing 30W RMS. RMS (45W peak) power and 10-zone underglow RGB lighting. Both speaker models feature 7.1 virtual surround sound, USB-C connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, and 3.5mm inputs. analog inputs, and a single USB-C connection for audio and power. To reach maximum rated power, a USB-C source of at least 30W is required. The Mako X is scheduled for release on October 6, 2026, at €109.99, followed by the standard Mako in December 2026 for €159.99.
