Recent episodes of the Italian game show ‘Reazione a Catena’ have featured shifts in championship status and high-stakes gameplay. On September 25, 2026, the defending champions ‘Gli Inseparabili’ were unseated by ‘Copia e Incolla’. In the October 1 episode, ‘Gli Improbabili’ reached the final chain with 138,000 euros at stake but failed to secure the prize. By October 4, ‘Le Matricole’ unseated ‘I Mariachi’ with 3,625 euros, only to be subsequently defeated by the family trio ‘Le Suocere’. On October 8, 2026, the team ‘I Mici Amici’—consisting of Antonio, Giovanna, and Elisa—reclaimed the championship by defeating the engineering team ‘I Pupi’ from Torino. ‘I Mici Amici’ accumulated 93,000 euros, outperforming ‘I Pupi’ in the ‘Intesa vincente’ test, though they failed to secure the final prize during the ‘Ultima Catena’ phase. On October 10, 2026, the championship status shifted again as ‘Le Tre di Cuori’ (Luigia, Rosa, and Franca) defeated ‘I Mici Amici’. The new champions won the ‘L’Intesa Vincente’ round by identifying five words in 55 seconds, while the challengers identified only two words in 65 seconds. Although ‘Le Tre di Cuori’ failed to identify the final word in the ‘Ultima Catena’, leaving them with a prize pool of 18,125 euros, they have become fan favorites. Looking toward the season finale, the championship team ‘Le Pappardelle’ (Carolina, Maria Giulia, and Francesca) is scheduled to return to the studio on October 18 after a successful run earning them 266,000 euros. The trio is also organizing a charity event in their Florentine neighborhood on October 17.
