Various regional running and cross country events were held across different Spanish regions. In La Rioja and Navarre, club championships took place, featuring hundreds of athletes in categories ranging from school races to senior divisions. These competitions determined teams for upcoming Spanish championships. In other regions, La Rioja, the 34th Cross de Santo Domingo de la Calzada saw Club Calagurris Atlético crowned as the regional cross country champion. The team secured victory over runner-up Club Atletismo Calceatense. In the individual absolute category, Héctor Miguel Fuertes of Adas Cupa took first place, while Valentín Lana and Ismael Tomé followed in second and third. Beronia also achieved success, winning the mixed relay and several individual titles in the Sub-20, Sub-18, and Sub-16 categories.
