Regional theatre and literary figures have received various honors across the Balkans. In August, actors Matej Čujovič and Svetozar Cvetković won best actor awards at regional festivals. Čujovič was recognized at the Takovske cveti festival in Slovenia, while Cvetković received honors at the Festival of Small Stages in Rijeka, Croatia.
