Various regional events and programs continue to be conducted across Brazil to support local culture, agriculture, public welfare, and economic development. In early October, community fairs and celebrations were organized to promote family farming and artisanal production. These included anniversary celebrations in Cantagalo, the Raízes Femininas Fair in Campina Grande, and the Family Agro-industry Fair in Curitiba. Additionally, the Circuito Rede Viva organized a Creative Economy Fair in Torres to preserve agricultural heritage. Efforts have since expanded toward regulatory oversight and public health. In Campo Grande, the State Agency for Animal and Plant Sanitary Defense (Iagro) scheduled a seminar for October 19 to 23 to improve the inspection of agricultural inputs. Iagro president Daniel Ingold stated this effort is “essential to protect society, ensure environmental sustainability, and maintain the credibility of the Brazilian agribusiness sector.” In Mato Grosso do Sul, seminars have also been hosted to train inspectors to combat illegal pesticides and seed fraud. Economic development continues through the Sebrae Entrepreneurship Fair 2026. In São Paulo, the event includes municipalities like Itanhaém and Monte Mor to promote local tourism. Simultaneously, the Goiânia Convention Center is hosting entrepreneurship events offering specialized consultancies and business networking opportunities. In Minas Gerais, the government has opened applications for small businesses to participate in the 2nd Multisectoral Fair of Ubá to boost the local economy. Community programs in Sorocaba include animal adoption events and ‘Pink October’ health awareness, alongside the ‘Médico na Praça’ mobile clinic and the ‘Integração Cuidar’ project to provide multidisciplinary care in vulnerable areas. Recent activities in Sorocaba have also included lectures regarding racial equity. In Adamantina and Nova Olímpia, ‘Pink October’ health actions for women are being conducted. Healthcare modernization continues conducted, with the launch of teleconsultation services in Orleans. Environmental efforts in Goiânia include plans to plant 25,000 native trees in municipal parks during the rainy season. Nova Olímpia specifically holding a special service day for women's health prevention.
