Various community markets and cultural events are being organized across different regions in Japan. This market features handmade works and children's workshops, with a portion of proceeds donated to environmental protection and children's foster care. The event will also collect plastic bottle caps to fund vaccines for children in developing countries. In Minowa Town, the ‘Minowa Kodomo Festa 2026’ is set for September 6, 2026, at the Minowa Town Cultural Center and Regional Exchange Center. The free event will host 21 booths offering sports, crafts, and flea markets, including activities such as slacklining, photography, and workshops for making recycled keychains and fabric charms.
