Regional developments across Latin America and Argentina have focused on social infrastructure, fiscal policy, and energy strategies. In El Salvador, efforts are underway to secure financing from the Inter-American Development Bank to accelerate social housing construction. In Argentina, initiatives include subsidized mortgage credit agreements for public sector workers in Entre Ríos and infrastructure projects in Neuquén. Social inclusion efforts have been highlighted through the ‘Somos Expo Inclusiva’ in Ushuaia to promote rights for people with disabilities. Fiscal and energy discussions have also emerged. In Chubut, Governor Ignacio Torres called for a discussion on federal tax sharing to address regional asymmetries during the Fiscal Federalism Congress. Additionally, officials in Comodoro Rivadavia are developing a Provincial Green Hydrogen Strategy to utilize wind resources for industrial production by 2035. Other regional activities include integrated tourism exploration in Tucumán and Santiago del Estero, and budget analysis by the Federal Council of Fiscal Responsibility in Ushuaia. Recent infrastructure investments have been announced in Tierra del Fuego and Neuquén. In Ushuaia, Governor Gustavo Melella and the Fondo para la Ampliación de la Matriz Productiva Fueguina signed an agreement to fund the expansion of Water Treatment Plant 4. The project, costing over 19 billion pesos, aims to double the city’s purification capacity to serve up to 40,000 inhabitants and improve water security. Meanwhile, Neuquén launched the ‘Neuquén Vive’ plan, an initiative involving 45 projects with an estimated investment of 685.8 billion pesos to expand sports, cultural, and recreational facilities.
