Various regional trade fairs and business exhibitions are scheduled to take place in Brazil during late 2026. In Lajeado, Rio Grande do Sul, the 24th Expovale and 12th Construmóbil have been launched for November 2026, focusing on construction, real estate, and solar energy. In Tramandaí, the 33rd Multiexpo business fair is set for early September. The 49th edition resulted in approximately R$ 6.18 billion in business transactions, representing a 40% increase over the previous year. This growth was primarily driven by the agricultural machinery and implements sector, which accounted for R$ 5.46 billion, a 45% rise compared to the last edition. The event is viewed as a sign of economic recovery for Rio Grande do Sul following recent climatic challenges. Other commercial highlights included R$ 668.7 million in the automotive sector and R$ 21.9 million in animal sales, with the Crioulo horse breed representing over 77% of that total. Family farming achieved record sales of R$ 14.4 million from 509 exhibitors. While business volume grew, total attendance saw a decline of approximately 10% to 18% compared to the previous year, with roughly 909,036 visitors recorded over the nine-day event. This edition also marked the debut of carbon neutrality efforts, involving the compensation of between 1,000 and 1,500 tons of CO2. Beyond Rio Grande do Sul, other significant economic activity has been reported at various Brazilian events.
