Various regional trade fairs and business exhibitions are scheduled to take place in Brazil during late 2026. In Lajeado, Rio Grande do Sul, the 24th Expovale and 12th Construmóbil have been launched for November 2026, focusing on construction, real estate, and solar energy. In Tramandaí, the 33rd Multiexpo business fair is set for early September. Expointer 2026, Latin America’s largest agricultural fair, recently concluded at the Assis Brasil Exhibition Park in Esteio, Rio Grande do Sul. The 49th edition resulted in approximately R$ 6.18 billion in business transactions, a 40% increase over the previous year. While the event organizer, Simers, reported that prospective business in the machinery and implements sector reached R$ 5.461 billion—a 45% rise—the Brazilian Association of the Machinery and Equipment Industry (Abimaq) noted a 25% decline in purchase intentions among its members, citing a slower business rhythm. This discrepancy is attributed to differing reporting methodologies. In the livestock sector, animal sales totaled R$ 21.98 million. Sales of the Crioulo horse breed grew by 17.16% to R$ 17 million, representing 77.34% of total animal sales. According to Sindiler, high demand for quality genetics helped drive these results despite credit restrictions and climate challenges. Family farming achieved record sales of R$ 14.4 million from 509 exhibitors. Beyond Rio Grande do Sul, the 47th Expofeira in Feira de Santana opened with expectations to attract over 400,000 visitors to bolster the municipality’s agribusiness status. Other notable economic activity included the Chocolate Festival in Ribeirão Pires, which saw an impact of up to R$ 19.86 million, and the 38th SET EXPO in São Paulo. Looking ahead to October 1 and 2, the Global Agribusiness Festival (GAFFFF) is scheduled to take place at Nubank Parque in São Paulo.
