The international Arabic action thriller ‘7 Dogs’ is scheduled for release was released in Indian theaters on August 21 in both Hindi and English. The film also features special appearances by Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, a casting choice reportedly suggested by Alalshikh. Following its release, critics have characterized the film as a light-hearted, ‘corny’ action piece that prioritizes high-stakes chases and visual spectacle over a complex narrative. The production is noted for its attempt to represent global stardom by blending Hollywood-style action with international talent. The film was shot entirely in Riyadh and depicts the kingdom’s legal approach to drug trafficking. Following its record-breaking release in the Middle East, the film’s trailer has highlighted its large-scale production and stunt design, overseen by Stephen Dunlevy, known for work on the ‘John Wick’ and ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ franchises. Directors El Arbi and Fallah have praised the professionalism of Khan and Dutt, with El Arbi comparing Khan’s screen presence to that of Will Smith. The film was shot entirely in Riyadh.
