New peripheral hardware has been introduced by technology companies, focusing on high-performance connectivity and display support. Ugreen expanded its product lineup with a 16-inch portable monitor featuring a 165 Hz refresh rate and an 11-in-1 USB4 docking station capable of data transfer rates up to 40 Gbit/s. The docking station supports high-resolution outputs, including a single 4K monitor at 240 Hz or dual 4K monitors at 120 Hz. The monitor utilizes an IPS panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. Plugable released two USB-C hubs, a 6-in-1 and an 8-in-1 model, specifically designed to support high-refresh-rate monitors for Mac users. Utilizing HDMI 2.1, these hubs allow compatible Macs to drive displays at up to 4K 144Hz or 8K 30Hz. The products include up to 85W of pass-through charging. Satechi has introduced the ExtendView USB4 Dual HDMI Multiport Adapter, which allows a single host device to connect to two external 4K monitors at 60Hz via one cable without requiring drivers or DisplayLink. The adapter provides up to 140W pass-through charging and includes two USB-A and two USB-C ports with 10Gbps data speeds. While compatible with most Windows USB4 devices and Apple M3 through M6 Macs, base M1 and M2 Macs are limited to a single extended display.
