Release of Philippine vertical series ‘Half Sisters’

Overview

The upcoming comedy-horror series ‘Half Sisters’ is set to premiere on iWant on September 25, 2026. Produced by Star Creatives in collaboration with ABS-CBN Studios, the production represents the unit’s first venture into a vertical microdrama format designed for short-form mobile viewing.

The series stars former ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ housemates Bianca de Vera and Esnyr Ranollo as siblings who discover they are ‘manananggals’. The plot centers on their struggle to accept their supernatural identities and the conflict arising when both fall for the same character, played by Brent Manalo.

While the full series will be available via subscription on iWant, the first five episodes will be released for free on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube pages.
