Release and streaming of Ramba Oorvasi Menaka

Overview

The fantasy comedy film ‘Rambha Urvasi Menaka’, directed by Chandra Mohan Chintada and starring Allari Naresh, progressed toward its September 4 theatrical release. Following the release of the film’s trailer by actor Nagarjuna, the Central Board of Film Certification granted the movie a U/A certificate. The plot centers on Suri, a rural drama artist who uses a family magic book to bring three celestial beauties—Ramba, Oorvashi, and Menaka—to Earth, where they arrive stripped of their divine powers.

Upon its theatrical release, critical reception was mixed. Some reviewers described the production as an ‘outdated’ cinematic experience that failed to offer surprises, while others praised the comedic timing of Allari Naresh and VK Naresh.

Following an underwhelming theatrical run marked by poor box office collections and mixed reviews, the film transitioned to digital streaming. As of September 25, ‘Ramba Oorvasi Menaka’ is available on Amazon Prime Video. The production, involving Annapurna Studios and Hasya Movies, features a cast including Surbhi, Rashi Singh, Vishnupriya Bheemaneni, Prisha Singh, Vennela Kishore, and Racha Ravi.
