The story follows Bilal Ahmed, a Pakistani intelligence operative working undercover in India, who suffers from amnesia and mistakenly believes he is an Indian counter-terrorism officer named Vikrant. Initially scheduled for release on October 9, the film's debut was delayed by two weeks and moved to October 23. Ahead of the release, a video of the lead actors visiting the Golden Temple went viral, specifically showing Sara Ali Khan becoming “visibly emotional and weeping at the shrine.” Following its release on October 23, 2026, the film earned an estimated net collection of approximately 4.10 crore rupees in India on its opening day, with a domestic gross of roughly 4.83 crore rupees. While this opening was considered slow compared to Khurrana’s previous hits, the film experienced a 50 percent increase on its second day, earning ₹6.90 crore net. This growth brought the two-day total to ₹11 crore, leading analysts to project a weekend collection of approximately ₹20 crore. Critical reception has been mixed. While some reviewers praised the chemistry between the lead actors, the film’s comedic timing, and the performances of Khurrana and Rahul Bose, others noted that the “second half feels slightly drawn out.” Additional criticisms included inconsistent tonal shifts between the spy thriller thriller, comedy, and comedy patriotism elements, as well as a perceived lack of freshness in the script. Produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, the ensemble cast also includes Ram Kapoor and Gulshan Grover.
