Release of Yeh Prem Mol Liya film details

Overview

The upcoming musical family drama ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’, directed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films, has begun its promotional rollout. The film’s title track, composed by Himesh Reshammiya and performed by Shreya Ghoshal and Nihal Tauro, was launched via a live orchestra performance at the Royal Opera House in Mumbai. The soundtrack is expected to feature six songs, with a potential bonus track added during the theatrical run.

Lead actor Ayushmann Khurrana, starring alongside Sharvari Wagh and Anupam Kher, has described the project as a connection to traditional values and a fulfillment of a childhood dream. Khurrana noted the film is intended for ‘Bharat’ rather than just ‘India,’ citing how the 1994 film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!’ ignited his passion for Hindi cinema.

Promotional efforts have continued with the release of ‘Jhumka Patola’, a celebratory song featuring Khurrana and Sharvari, with vocals by Shreya Ghoshal. Sharvari noted that the song allowed her to explore dance within a narrative-driven framework, describing Barjatya’s directing style as one where choreography and expression are “deeply integrated into the story and character development.” This track follows the previous release of the title track and the Garba song ‘Jai Ambe Bol.’

Filming in Mumbai has been completed. Yash Raj Films (YRF) has acquired the overseas distribution rights for the film, marking the fourth collaboration between YRF and Rajshri Productions. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on November 27, 2026.
