Following his canonization by Pope Leo XIV on September 7, 2025, the relics of Saint Carlo Acutis—the Catholic Church’s first millennial saint—have been featured in various religious missions and festivals. In Australia, a major relic containing a section of his pericardium began a four-month tour on June 25, visiting 19 dioceses and over 50 cities as a precursor to the 2028 International Eucharistic Congress in Sydney. As the 20th anniversary of his death on October 12, 2006, is observed, commemorations are expanding globally. In Vietnam, the legacy of the saint has attracted thousands of Gen Z visitors to the Thủ Thiêm Lovers of the Holy Cross Congregation. In Italy, the Oratorio di Soresina festival scheduled a relic arrival for September 1, featuring a procession and Mass at the Buon Pastore church. In South America, the saint’s presence continues to grow. Relics were scheduled to arrive in Paraná, Argentina, on September 10 for enthronement at the Santo Domingo Savio parish. In Brazil, a first-degree relic consisting of two strands of hair was scheduled for public visitation in Maringá on October 19, following an itinerary through northern Paraná that included Mandaguaçu. In Italy, celebrations remain widespread. In Assisi, the city is hosting four days of events, including a Holy Mass at the Sanctuary of the Spogliazione presided over by Cardinal Luis Antonio Gokim Tagle. In Milan, the Diocese is organizing prayer sessions and the ‘Santi con Carlo’ initiative. In Centola, an ‘ex corpore’ relic was donated to the parish of San Nicola di Bari. Cultural interest is further bolstered by the film ‘Il mio nome è Carlo’ and the documentary ‘Carlo Acutis. The Millennial Saint’, scheduled for release between October 15 and 21. On September 7, 2026, the Church marked the first anniversary of Acutis’s canonization.
