The government of Republika Srpska has implemented several measures to provide financial support to its citizens. In late September, Milorad Dodik announced that September pensions, salaries, and veteran benefits would be processed ahead of their usual schedule. By October, the government extended direct support for the petroleum derivatives market through November 15, 2026. This program provides a reduction of 0.10 KM per liter for diesel and unleaded gasoline across 281 points of sale. Financial reports for the first half of 2026 indicated that general fund revenues reached 4.5052 billion KM, exceeding the financial plan by 15 percent, while expenditures were recorded at 3.8781 billion KM.
