Overview

In late July 2026, Steam began a limited‑time promotion in Brazil, offering up to 80% off a wide selection of Resident Evil titles for PC, including individual games, bundles and the remake trilogy, with the sale running until early August.

By early August, Capcom had broadened the discount effort. By mid-August, the promotional activity expanded to GOG through its Summer Sale, which included various Resident Evil titles and bundles with discounts of up to 90%. Additionally, Capcom implemented price reductions for the Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition bundles across PlayStation, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2, though individual game prices remained unchanged.
