Return of Dancing with the Stars to Croatia

Overview

The television program ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (Ples sa zvijezdama) is returning to Croatian Radio Television (HRT) after an eight-year hiatus. The new season is scheduled to premiere on October 31 and run through December 19, airing on Saturdays on HRT’s first program.

Initial announcements identified several participants, including singer Marija Husar Rimac, actress Lana Ujević Telenta, radio host Marko Bratoš, and singer Alen Đuras. Later updates expanded the list of celebrity pairs to include gymnast Christina Zwicker and fashion designer Ivica Skoko. The show will be hosted by Barbara Kolar and Duško Ćurlić.

The judging panel has been confirmed as a four-member group consisting of Daniela Trbović, professional dancer Damir Horvatinčić, ballet artist Mihaela Devald Roksandić, and professional ballroom dancer and coach Robert Schubert. Trbović noted her transition from contestant to judge, while Horvatinčić expressed enthusiasm for providing professional feedback despite the pressure of his new role.

This season also introduces a viewer voting competition featuring prizes valued at 6,031 euros.
