Professional wrestling legend Ric Flair, 77, was hospitalized in Tampa, Florida, on October 23 after a fall outside a restaurant. Reports indicate the incident occurred at Wagamama when Flair stood up from the bar and subsequently collapsed while attempting to cross the street. The fall resulted in facial injuries, including significant bleeding near his head and eye area, and a suspected concussion. Following treatment at the scene, he was transported to Tampa General Hospital. Flair was discharged on October 24 and is recovering at home. In social media updates, he appeared with an eye bandage and expressed gratitude to medical staff. His daughter, WWE wrestler Charlotte Flair, also reassured fans that he is going to be okay. Additionally, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone issued well-wishes for his recovery. The fall occurred shortly after Flair had canceled a scheduled appearance at the Washington State Horror Convention due to a blood clot in his leg. Doctors had restricted his travel to three to four hours and scheduled him for a procedure to treat the affected vein. It remains unclear if the fall was directly related to the blood clot or other existing health concerns. Following his release, Flair addressed concerns regarding his Facebook page, apologizing for inappropriate posts made during his hospitalization and clarifying that he no longer owns the account.
