Ripple has initiated a series of global summits and high-level discussions aimed at integrating blockchain technology into traditional financial systems. In early October 2026, the company announced the XRP Seoul 2026 conference, which focused on institutional adoption of the XRP Ledger, asset tokenization, and cross-border payments involving South Korean financial institutions. Following this, Ripple expanded its engagement through the Swell 2026 conference in New York, where executives from BlackRock and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) participated in discussions regarding digital asset strategies and stablecoin adoption. Concurrently, Ripple representatives engaged in panels at the IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok, addressing the integration of tokenized settlement markets, regulatory alignment, and the future of cross-border payments. During the Bangkok meetings, Ripple’s policy lead, Rahul Advani, joined an Atlantic Council GeoEconomics Center panel to discuss tokenized settlement markets and the integration of stablecoins into the future financial system. Ripple is also participating in the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s BLOOM initiative, a program involving the World Bank Group, the Bank of England, and the Bank of Thailand to explore synchronized settlement mechanisms for foreign exchange transactions using tokenized bank liabilities and regulated stablecoins. Additionally, Ripple is piloting programmable cross-border trade settlements utilizing the XRP Ledger and its RLUSD stablecoin on Unloq’s SC+ infrastructure.
