Road accident in Andouillé-Neuville

Overview

A head-on collision between two vehicles occurred on the RD 3175 in Andouillé-Neuville, north of Rennes, on a Monday night. The accident took place at a location known as La Lande Pleine on a road with an 80 km/h speed limit.

Three people were injured in the crash. A 20-year-old woman was treated with “extreme urgency” and transported to the CHU de Rennes in critical condition. Two other men, aged 20 and 50, were also hospitalized in “relative urgency”.

Emergency responders, including fifteen firefighters and six rescue vehicles, were deployed to the scene. The RD 3175 was temporarily closed in both directions to facilitate the intervention. Authorities have not yet provided an official explanation regarding the circumstances of the collision.
