Infrastructure projects involving county road repairs and reconstructions continue across various Polish locations. In the Żywiec County area, a damaged section of the road connecting Lipowa to Słotwina is slated for permanent repairs to address erosion caused by the Kalonka stream. This project, which involves constructing a retaining wall, has moved into a design documentation phase with a completion deadline of May 21, 2027. New regional developments include the commencement of the Namysłów bypass, a 5.1 km project costing 103 million PLN designed to divert heavy transit traffic from the city center. Approximately 72 million PLN for this bypass is provided by EU funding.
