Morefun Studios and Tencent Games have announced the global expansion of Roco Kingdom, an open-world creature-collecting RPG. The title, which features over 400 unique creatures known as ‘Jinies’, was originally a successful franchise in China with over 350 million registered players. This new iteration evolves the franchise from a browser-based game into a full open-world experience set on the magical continent of Kalosia. Following the announcement of its Western market release, the game is set to launch across ~~PC,~~ PC (including Steam and Epic Games), mobile, and consoles including PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Gameplay features include tactical PvP and PvE battles alongside social elements such as farming, home decoration, and exploration. A global closed beta test (CBT) for PC and mobile is scheduled to begin on October 27, 2026, with registration currently open. A closed beta test specifically for the Japanese version is also slated for the same date. During a media hands-on event in Tokyo, developers highlighted the game’s immersive open world, which includes dynamic ~~weather and~~ weather, time ~~cycles.~~ cycles, and detailed soundscapes designed to reflect the personalities of the Jinies.
