Developed by entrepreneur Colin Petrie-Norris, the channel aggregates media from approximately 100 AI creators globally, featuring a wide variety of styles ranging from anime-style animation to faux stop-motion fairy tales. The channel lacks a unifying theme or narrative focus, providing a stream of short-form clips that viewers can only skip through in small increments. Initial reception has been largely negative; critics have characterized the output as ‘AI slop’, citing significant technical issues such as disjointed storytelling, poor sequencing, and inconsistent visual and audio quality described as ‘mush’. As the channel expands to other platforms like Xumo Play and Canela.TV, it has been marketed under the concept of ‘AI Cinema’. While some critics have escalated their descriptions of the content to ‘bottom-of-the-barrel slop’ and ‘nightmare fodder’, creators involved in the project argue that human involvement remains central.
