Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II rollout and global expansion
Overview
Rolls-Royce introduced the Spectre Series II, a major update to its all-electric luxury grand tourer. The new model features increased power, an extended driving range, and a wider selection of Bespoke finishes. The launch emphasized exclusive customer experiences, including high-end travel to showcase the vehicle’s luxury positioning.
Following the launch, highly customized versions of the Spectre have appeared in markets such as the Netherlands. One notable vehicle, featuring approximately €160,000 in optional extras and a deep red and black two-tone scheme, has a total cost of €556,529. This unit is among the most expensive standard models registered in the country, surpassed only by three other units, including the Black Badge edition.
The brand is expanding its global footprint, particularly in India and the Middle East. In India, the Spectre Series II is expected to arrive before the end of 2026, featuring a larger 112kWh battery pack and a revised electrical architecture intended to increase the WLTP-certified driving range to 628km. To support this, the company has opened its second Indian showroom in Meenambakkam, Chennai, which includes a dedicated Bespoke Commissioning Atelier to serve customers across southern India.
In Europe, the Spectre Series II made its road debut in Stockholm, Sweden. Technical enhancements include a 14 percent reduction in charging times and a motor delivering 442 kW (601 hp). The high-performance Black Badge version reaches up to 500 kW (680 hp). Updates also include 23-inch forged steel rims and new upholstery options like ‘Duality Twill’.
In Qatar, Rolls-Royce hosted a Bespoke Crafts Showcase in Doha to highlight customization capabilities. The event featured specialized models, such as the Cullinan Pearl and Phantom Centenary, which were designed to reflect Qatar’s maritime heritage and historical connection to pearling.
