The Loteria Romănă’s draws continued to attract strong participation through July and August 2026. A preview on 1 July noted that the 2 July Loto 6/49 Category I pool stood at 36.85 million lei (≈€7.03 million), with Noroc at 6.99 million lei, Joker I over 1.04 million lei and other games holding sizable reports. The preceding weekend (28 June) saw more than 24,100 wins worth over 2.5 million lei. The 2 July draw delivered a Category I prize exceeding €8 million, and by 23 July the lottery had paid out over 2.43 million lei to roughly 19,000 winners. The largest single award was a near-535,000-lei Joker II win, accompanied by notable Noroc and Loto 49 prizes. On 30 July, the lottery awarded 23,429 prizes worth about 3 million lei; a ticket bought in Galaţi claimed the Loto 5/40 Category I prize of 988,285.60 lei (≈€172k). The subsequent 2 August draw produced more than 24,300 winning tickets and a total payout of over 2.44 million lei, while the Loto 6/49 roll-over rose to roughly 47.5 million lei (≈€9.05 million). By 6 August, the Loto 6/49 Category I report passed 49 million lei (≈€9.34 million), with Noroc at approximately 3.79 million lei and Joker I at approximately 3.22 million lei. For the 9 August draws, the Loto 6/49 jackpot reached a rollover of over 50.06 million lei (≈€9.53 million), with Noroc rising to over 3.85 million lei and Joker I Category I exceeding 3.41 million lei. This follows the August 6 drawings, where more than 22,400 prizes totaling over 2.14 million lei were awarded, but no player matched all six numbers for the Loto 6/49 jackpot. By 13 August, the Loto 6/49 Category I rollover continued to climb, exceeding 51.62 million lei (over €9.82 million). ~~In early September, prize pools remained elevated.~~
