In response, USR and PNL have announced plans to challenge this decision at the Constitutional Court, alleging violations of rules regarding factional representation, and have boycotted plenary sessions and committee meetings. RMDSZ parliamentary leader Botond Csoma indicated that his party supported the resolution while under pressure from the Social Democratic Party (PSD), PSD, noting a dilemma between supporting the change or risking the loss of representation essential for protecting minority interests. Meanwhile, the PSD continues to promote its “National Agreement,” a 10-point strategic proposal focusing on energy security, taxation, education, healthcare, agriculture, and economic investment to guide the next two years of governance.
