Regarding its offshore operations, Romgaz and OMV Petrom, joint operators of the Neptun Deep project in the Black Sea, announced that first gas production is expected to enter the National Transmission System in the first half of 2027. Following the installation of the Neptun Alpha shallow-water production platform and the completion of seven out of ten production wells, the project is moving toward a production plateau expected by the end of the third quarter of 2027. The project, with an estimated budget of approximately 4 billion euros, aims to deliver around 8 billion cubic meters of gas per year at full capacity.
