Following the July 2026 release of the Rolling Stones’ twenty-fifth studio album, ‘Foreign Tongues’, guitarist Ronnie Wood has been performing as part of a European tour with his group, Ronnie Wood and His Ammo Band. A notable performance took place in the Plaza Mayor of Valladolid, Spain, as part of local patron saint festivities. The event, which cost the city 302,500 euros, prompted local political debate regarding festival lineups and the city’s efforts to host international talent. Wood has since expanded his activities with a world tour celebrating his career and the release of ‘Fearless: Anthology 1965-2025’. In Barcelona, he performed a solo concert at the Razzmatazz venue, accompanied by veteran musicians Willie Weeks and Andy Newmark, alongside vocalists Imelda May and Chanel Haynes. The setlist featured Rolling Stones classics such as ‘It’s Only Rock ’n’ Roll’ and ‘Stay With Me’, as well as songs from his time with The Faces. His upcoming South American tour includes stops in Brazil and Chile. In Argentina, Wood is scheduled to perform at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires on November 6 and at the Teatro Metropolitano in Rosario on November 8, joined by special guest Imelda May. The Rosario show, which marks Wood’s first appearance in the city and his first return to the country in ten years, will have tickets available via Turbo Entrada following a Santander Visa presale on September 10. In addition to Wood’s solo activities, The Rolling Stones have returned to the studio to record new material. British jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine confirmed he recently participated in a recording session with Mick Jagger. While a new album has not been officially announced, a spokesperson for the band stated that Jagger and the group are continuously developing new songs for potential future releases.
