In late September 2026, the fourth edition of the Special Olympics rowing competition was held at Lago di Roffia. The event drew interest from German, French, and Italian clubs, featuring qualifying heats and finals for two-person and four-person boats. Canottieri Velocior La Spezia took first place, while Canottieri San Miniato established twinning agreements with French and Italian clubs. Following this, the Italian Coastal Rowing Championships took place in Pesaro from October 2 to 4. The competition involved 67 clubs, with ASD Canottieri Partenio securing a second-place finish in the Under 23 double category. Concurrently, in international sailing at the 470 Open European Trophy & Master’s Cup in Slovenia, Club Nautico Pesaro earned two silver medals in the Grand Grand Master and Master categories. The championships in Pesaro featured 430 athletes representing 62 clubs, awarding 35 national titles across Senior, Under 23, Under 19, and Master categories. The host club, Canottieri Pesaro, achieved 13 total podium finishes, including two national titles in the Master 55-64 Men’s C4x+ and the Master Over 64 Mixed C4x+ categories.
