Royal Enfield has launched the Flying Flea C6, the inaugural commercial model from its new electric mobility brand, Flying Flea. While the company maintains its traditional thermal engine lineup, the C6 represents a significant shift toward electric mobility.

Originally unveiled at EICMA 2024, the lightweight electric motorcycle is designed for urban commuting. The C6 features a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery, a motor delivering 15.4 kW of peak power and 60 Nm of torque, and a top speed of 115 km/h. Technical specifications include a forged aluminum exo-skeleton frame, a parallelogram fork (girder-style) front suspension, and a belt drive. The motorcycle offers a range of approximately 104 km under the WMTC cycle, with charging from 20% to 80% taking roughly 65 minutes.

The motorcycle weighs 124 kg and is categorized as a 125cc equivalent. Technological features include an integrated charger, ABS braking, cornering traction control, and a 3.5-inch circular dashboard.

Following an initial European rollout in cities such as London and Paris, the brand has expanded its presence in India. Following a launch in Bengaluru, the C6 is now available in Hyderabad. In this market, the motorcycle is priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), though customers can utilize a ‘Battery-as-a-Service’ (BaaS) model to reduce the initial purchase price to ₹1.99 lakh, subject to separate battery usage fees. To support this expansion, the company has established four touchpoints in Hyderabad, including a dedicated service center in Erragadda and three additional maintenance outlets.
