RTL Most Wanted reality show production in Hungary

Hungarian broadcaster RTL is filming the second season of the reality chase show ‘Most Wanted – A hajsza’, scheduled to take place nationwide from 12 August to 17 August. The competition features 24 celebrity participants, organized into 12 pairs, who must evade a pursuit team while wearing orange prisoner uniforms and lacking access to money or mobile phones. The public is encouraged to participate by aiding or hindering the pursuit via phone or social media.

During the filming process, the pursuit team, led by Balázs Sebestyén, initially captured three celebrity pairs. However, investigators reported that fugitives began receiving significant assistance from the public. One pair, Bogi Nagy and Vini, attempted to hide within crowds at the Sziget Festival, where they encountered illusionist Balázs Kiss V., who performed a magic trick involving a hotel room key during their escape.

In the premiere episode filmed in Budapest, participants attempted to escape the pursuit team near the Keleti railway station. During the episode, a confrontation involving a BMW resulted in a vehicle collision between the BMW and another car, an event witnessed by participants including Fecó Frohner and Joci Pápai.

Further details emerged regarding a multi-vehicle collision involving three vehicles, including one of the show’s production buses. The incident occurred when the production crew attempted to turn their minibus around on a busy street after noticing several vehicles following their crew bus, which were allegedly acting as informants for the fleeing celebrities. No official reports regarding injuries have been released, and there has been no confirmation regarding the legal responsibility or specific maneuvers of the drivers involved.
