Sainik Schools in India have initiated recruitment processes for various faculty and staff positions across multiple locations. In Uttar Pradesh, Sainik School Mainpuri, which operates under the Sainik School Society and the Ministry of Defence, has announced recruitment for faculty positions including Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and Counsellors. For TGT roles, such as TGT English, candidates must possess specific educational qualifications, including a four-year integrated degree or a Bachelor’s/Honours degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject, alongside a B.Ed. or equivalent. Additionally, applicants must be qualified in the Central Teaching Eligibility Test (Paper-II) and demonstrate competence in teaching through both English and Hindi. Further details regarding the Mainpuri recruitment specify that vacancies also include Lower Division Clerks (LDC), Lab Assistants, Craft Instructors, Medical Officers, and Hostel Supervisors. Selected candidates can expect monthly salaries ranging from approximately ₹44,900 to ₹60,000, aligned with 7th Pay Commission standards. The application process for Mainpuri is offline; candidates must download forms from the official website and submit them via post with required documentation. Simultaneously, Sainik School Satara announced eight contractual vacancies for roles including Medical Officer, Riding Instructor, and Nursing Sister, with applications due by October 9, 2026. Following these announcements, Sainik School Kunjpura in Haryana released its own recruitment notice for 15 teaching and non-teaching positions. These include regular TGT roles in subjects such as General Science and Mathematics, as well as contractual positions for a Band Master, Mess Manager, and Horse Riding Instructor. Applications for the Kunjpura positions are due by October 31, 2026.
