The 16th annual Paella Festival has been scheduled for September 26, 2026, at the Universidad La Salle Saltillo gardens in Coahuila. The event will feature more than 40 tasting points involving chefs, restaurants, and wine producers, with Ramos Arizpe serving as the invited municipality. Organizers, including the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Food Industry (Canirac) Saltillo, stated the festival will include cultural activities, live music, and a children’s area. Entry is free for children up to 12 years old, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Saltillo Valle Arizpe Rotary Club to support education for vulnerable children. Recent official presentations indicate the festival is projected to generate an economic impact of approximately 1.8 million pesos. In addition to supporting the Rotary Club, proceeds will also be allocated to student scholarships at Universidad La Salle. While entry remains free for children under 12, tickets for the general public are being made available through the JRTicket platform. The municipal government of Saltillo is working alongside the private sector and Canirac Saltillo to promote the city as a gastronomic and tourist destination.
